Stop ticks in their tracks with the NEW Tick Slick Coat Enhancer Spray for Horses!
This wax based spray creates a barrier on your horses’ hair that is too slick for ticks to stick onto, preventing them from getting onto your horse in the first place.
Many mainstream products that are designed to kill ticks can take up to several days to actually kill a tick. Ticks actually have to be either crawling on or biting into your horse for up to several days before they die. Yet, in as little as only 1-12 hours a biting tick can infect your horse with deadly diseases such as Lyme disease, Powassan virus, and many other non-curable diseases.
This easy to apply, residue-free spray is a uniquely designed formula that is also a natural coat conditioner.
After one application of Tick Slick Coat Enhancer your horse is immediately ready to effectively deflect ticks for up to one week!
Also available in an 8oz spray for Dogs!
Brand: LifeFORCE™ Pet Health
Glycerine- We use a plant based glycerin which is a substance that is used to reduce the loss of moisture. So rather than dehydrating your horses skin, it keeps it moisturized!
Propanediol - Used as a solvent and also helps to reduce the loss of moisture. Again, to help keep your horses skin from drying out.
Emulsifying wax NF - A vegetable derived emulsifier, that creates the “slick” effect so that ticks can’t stick onto your horse.
Polysorbate 20 - Used as a solubilizer/emulsifier to ensure that the ingredients mix together when you shake it!
Lavender Oil - Lavender oil is a natural bug deterrent that is used to prevent bites from mosquitoes and other biting insects.
Phenoxyethanol - Used as a preservative - so that your tick slick stays slick for months!
Dimethicone - This is an organic polymer, typically used in cosmetics that works with the emulsifying wax to create that “slick” effect.
Potassium Sorbate - Another ingredient that is used as a preservative.
SHAKE WELL! For best results and effectiveness use on recently rinsed/washed horse hair. Apply a heavy mist until hair is damp. Keep away from eyes, nose and mouth. Hand stroke or use a brush in the natural direction of the hair. Allow to dry before additional brushing.
Reapply each time, if required, when horse is heading outside where ticks may be present such as areas with long grass or the forest.
LASTS UP TO ONE WEEK!
